In House Lab

At Animal Medical Hospital, our in-house laboratory is fully equipped.  Our in house lab work is used for yearly wellness screenings, to check the overall health of an animal before any surgery, and to help with diagnostics and monitoring of any problems for your pet. This equipment allows us to monitor the function of your pet’s liver, kidneys, thyroid, adrenal glands, and bone marrow.

  • Complete Blood Count
  • Serum Biochemistry
  • Thyroid Monitoring
  • Medication Monitoring
  • Heartworm and Tick-Borne Disease screening
  • Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus screening


In house microscopy include:

  • Urinalysis
  • Evaluates kidney and bladder function
  • Ear Cytology
  • Used to determine type and severity of ear infection
  • Mass Cytology
  • Evaluates the cells that make up a mass
